Louisburg, N.C.

Bunn, N.C.
History
This rivalry began back in the 1960s and is one of the most heated in the state. When Bunn and Louisburg meet up, the host school typically triples its police presence to keep rowdy fans and players in check. After this year's game the teams weren't permitted to shake hands for fear of a fight breaking out.

Canton, N.C.

Waynesville, N.C.
History
As the only two football teams in Haywood County, N.C., located roughly nine miles apart, the Pigsah-Tuscola rivalry draws nearly 10,000 fans every time they meet up. The first game was back in 1966 and the emotions of the game have only intensified over the years. It's the kind of rivalry that makes the county a ghost town for the night.
