Best Mascot 2013 Official Rules

BEST MASCOT - TRACKING VOTES IN THE FINAL ROUND

Our priority is to make sure that every eligible vote is counted and to ensure that you are able to vote as often as you like.  To handle the incredible volume of votes, the CURRENT COUNT table on the voting page updates periodically, to help the vote page reload quickly.  The count for the mascot you support will update each time you vote.

VOTING FREQUENCY AND TIMEOUTS
You must vote for your favorite mascot within 30 seconds of the verify code appearing on the page. As the notice at the top of the voting page explains:

You must enter the correct code and click the Vote button in less than 30 seconds after the code appears for your vote to count. Otherwise, you will need to refresh your page and vote again.

If you have multiple browsers open or multiple tabs in a single browser open and are moving from one screen to another, you may be taking longer than 30 seconds between the time the page loads and when you vote.  If that happens, the system will tell you the code you entered was incorrect.  Please refresh your screen and vote within the 30-second time window.

THERE WILL BE NO CONTEST EXTENSION
The Regional Round was extended two days to ensure that all votes were properly collected.  We will not extend the Final Round.  The Mascot with the most votes at the end of the Final Round will be the winner.

Thank you for your votes and enthusiasm!
Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to ensure that the voting goes smoothly. We take every vote seriously and we take everyone’s efforts seriously as well.  We are working day and night to see this contest to a successful completion and we truly appreciate the passion and commitment you are showing to your schools, teams and mascots.  It is astounding to witness.
