Billy Hicks
Since taking the head position at his alma mater in 1996, Hicks has turned Cave Spring into a state power, producing standouts like J.J. Redick, winning two state championships (2009-10) and playing in two more.

George Lancaster
Recently inducted into the Virginia High School League Hall of Fame, Lancaster entered this season with 657 career wins. He's won two state titles at Highland Springs (2003 and 2007) and 26 district championships.

Jack Baker
An alum at the school he coaches, Baker has the most wins of any active coach in the state. He's been the head coach at Maury since 1976 and has earned over 650 wins in his career, third most in state history.

Leon Goolsby
Goolsby inherited an unstable program and immediately transformed into one of the most consistent in the state. Since taking over in 2006, he's gone 144-44 and led Norcom to consecutive AAA titles in 2010-11.

Steve Smith
A legend in the high school coaching ranks, Smith has earned over 900 career victories, been named National Coach of the Year four times, produced dozens of McDonald's All Americans and led Oak Hill to eight national championships.

Walter Brower
Coaching at Hampton since 1982, Brower has led the Crabbers to three Class AAA state championships, including the latest in 2012. He has won over 530 games in his career.
