Known as the Custer County Conflict, the heat from this rivalry is planted early. The towns are 15 miles apart, so opponents get to know each other starting in little leagues. The series began in 1921. For a long spell between 1944 and 1971, the Clinton Red Tornadoes dominated by winning 20 out of 21 matchups.
