Haynesville
Haynesville, La.
VS
Homer
Homer, La.

Since starting up in 1907, this has been one of those rivalries that shut down both towns and the 13 miles between them every time they play. Known as the Claiborne Parish Super Bowl because Haynesville and Homer are the only football-playing schools in Louisiana's Claiborne Parish (population 16,914), this game sells out each year no matter the weather.

Jesuit
New Orleans, La.
VS
Holy Cross
New Orleans, La.

Having played every year since 1922, Jesuit vs. Holy Cross is a rivalry so intense it stays with players long after their glory days. Just ask Ronald Gravois, who played for Jesuit from 1954-55 and now manages a website, www.bluejaystigers.com, solely dedicated to chronicling the rivalry. Jesuit leads the series 54-37-1.

Ruston
Ruston, La.
VS
Neville
Monroe, La.

The oldest rivalry in Northeast Louisiana, Ruston vs. Neville is so intense not even a hurricane can stand in its way. After Hurricane Isaac hit Louisiana this past fall, the Ruston-Neville game was one of the only state's games not canceled (don't worry, the schools weren't in the eye of the storm). Neville leads the series 44-40-3.
